Oymyakon in Russia Considered to be the coldest city in the World. Oymyakon ironically means “unfrozen water. The average temperature on the city is -50 C

Oymyakon’s lowest recorded temperature was a frigid minus -71.2C in 1924.

It is one of the coldest permanently inhabited settlements on Earth with population of 500 people.
